HSE Expands Cooperation with Chinese Universities
An HSE delegation, led by Rector Nikita Anisimov, visited China for negotiations with the administration of the country’s top universities. The parties agreed to expand bilateral scientific and educational collaboration and signed several documents. In particular, a strategic partnership agreement was established with Peking University, one of the oldest and most prestigious educational institutions in China.

HSE to Launch Master’s Programme in Digital Engineering and Video Game Development
The HSE Tikhonov Moscow Institute of Electronics and Mathematics (HSE MIEM) is introducing a new online master’s programme: ‘Digital Engineering for Computer Games.’ This educational initiative aims to train specialists in video game creation, interactive applications, and simulation software. Students will explore game development technologies, game engines, artificial intelligence, advanced programming methods, and the design of complex systems.

Alina Pakhomova, a fourth-year student of the Bachelor’s Programme ‘Information Science and Computation Technology’ at the HSE Tikhonov Moscow Institute of Electronics and Mathematics (HSE MIEM), spent six months studying at the oldest university in Europe — the University of Bologna. She went to Italy as part of an academic mobility programme, and upon returning to Moscow, she shared her impressions of life and studying abroad, her leisure activities, new friends, and, of course, the famous Italian cuisine.
