Laboratory of 3D Imaging and Computer Graphics

The educational laboratory for 3D Imaging and Computer Graphics was created in 2015 and is a structural unit of the Computer Engineering Department. The laboratory is involved in laboratory work in a wide range of undergraduate and graduate disciplines to provide students with practical skills to work in graphic editors and systems for creating three-dimensional graphics, as well as for effective assimilation of knowledge in the field of computer graphics, three-dimensional visualization. The laboratory conducts a wide range of research and development work in the field of virtual, augmented, mixed reality (VAMR), sensor technologies and 3D printing.

On May 30th, the traditional HSE TechnoShow—the final exhibition of the best works by student teams during the 2021/22 academic year project cycle—took place in the HSE Tikhonov Moscow Institute of Electronics and Mathematics (MIEM HSE). For the first time since the pandemic began, the festival was held offline. Visitors to the show included not only students and professors of HSE University, but also a wide variety of interested people.

MIEM Holds Its Annual TechnoShow in an Updated Format

This year, the MIEM TechnoShow was held in a mixed online-offline format. The final key annual event of the MIEM project cycle featured 60 student team works.
