About the laboratory
The workflow in the laboratory is the result of the integration of three components – educational, research and production. From the very first year, students combine these three components in their interdisciplinary coursework. Our work is aimed at maximizing the effective perception of educational material using 3D technologies, completing coursework at the research level, as well as at students acquiring relevant practical skills not only in the subject area of their coursework, but also in related fields. The combination of the above activities results in the emergence of research and innovation projects that meet the most relevant and cutting-edge trends in information technology and electronics.
The laboratory is involved in bachelor's, master's, and additional education programs in the study of disciplines:
- Engineering and computer graphics;
- Geometric modeling in CAD;
- Basics of working with raster computer graphics;
- Basics of working with vector computer graphics;
- Modeling using a 3D pen.
Main activities of the laboratory:
- 3D visualization of objects, processes and phenomena;
- development of interactive educational and gaming technologies;
- development of computer vision systems;
- research and development of virtual and augmented reality systems;
- research and development of projects in the field of sensor technologies;
- research and development of gesture and motion capture systems;
